IPad message composer blanking out

This is more of a heads up for now. Sorry but I’m having more weird iPad issues. Any time I reply to my thread about Qix, and start typing in the message area, it’s blanking out all my text. If I dismiss the iPad keyboard, the text re-appears, and I cna tao into it and do things like move the cursor and select text, but as soon as I start typing again, it all vanishes.

This s the first time I’ve seen this behaviour, and so far inly in that thread. Typing this message is fine so far, but it is a starter, not a reply, which may be a difference. Only other thing I can think of is there’s some embedded codes in that other thread causing weird behaviour. Restarting Safari didn’t help.

I’ll monitor the problem and see if I can find any pattern.

OK, thank you for the heads-up. We did just update to the latest Flarum... though one would hope that would make things better, not worse.

One thing to try: when replying, try tapping the Full Screen button:

Maybe this will be better-behaved than the pop-up reply box? I don't know, but it seems worth a shot.

Ahh I didn’t even realise there was a full screen option!

FYI, I’m in that mode now, and it is working, luckily because this reply and the attempt I just had with your tileset reply were both having the same issue. I’ll now go reply to the other thread in full screen but looks like that’s the solution.
