A user has just brought to my attention a problem with this release of Mini Micro on Windows 10: out of the box, it boots up to a completely black screen with no way to type or do anything else.
This happens because it's failing to find the user.minidisk file, and that's throwing an exception that interrupts the whole boot process. Oops.
Fortunately there is an easy work-around:
You need to create a folder next to Mini Micro.exe called exactly "user.minidisk".
Once you do that, it should then launch just fine. (You could also place a zip file there, or if you used an older version of Mini Micro, just move your old user.minidisk file into place; but for a new user, creating a folder is the easiest solution.)
Sorry about this trouble, and I'll be sure to get it fixed for the next release!
