Last devlog we had a lot about health and system. This week focused on POWER! UNLIMITED POWER! Or actually quite the opposite, we focused on power limitations.
The power interface
On the bottom left of the screen, you can now see bars that represent the ship's total power output and how it is distributed to the systems.
We will use that interface to regulate how much of the ship's total energy production will be redirected to which system and adjust it to react to certain situations. (Think: All energy to shields)
Tabs and menus
Those of you that are interested in the uiWidget library. We implemented tab toggle buttons. For the rest of you: The station menu now can have other points than just the market. I implemented a canteen panel, that for now is empty but in the future, you might find interesting quests and characters there.
All in all, we are very proud of the current progress and look into the future with confidence, that Starfarer soon is a game you can all try and play.
